sehsüchte, the largest international student film festival in Europe, attracts filmmakers from all over the world. The intercultural exchange between young filmmakers, guests and audience, a diversified film program as well as numerous supporting events are part of the concept that makes sehsüchte so unique.

Since sehsüchte only thrives from its enthusiastic audience, the festival team was doing its best in 2010 to bring as many guests and visitors. Throughout six event-packed days, many filmic discoveries could be made for one. On the other hand, the festival offered an opportunity like none other for mutual exchange and contact among filmmakers, professionals and audience.

Panel discussions and master classes invited people to discuss, and the legendary sehsüchte parties invited them to celebrate - a supporting program that left little to be desired with regards to a warm atmosphere and diverse entertainment.
