The official program of the International Student Film Festival sehsüchte contains of ten festival sections:

• Documentary Film
• Animated Film
• Focus
• Children's Film
• Producer's Award
• Screenplay
• pitch!
• Music Video
• Price Against Discrimination

For the "International Competition" Feature-, Documentary- and Animated Films can be selected. Within the international competition and in the sections focus, children’s film, Producer's Award, music video, screenplay and pitch! and Price Against Discrimination this year altogether 17 prices are assigned. The play award and the start UP award are new in this year.

Each section has a special focus, which is important for the selection process. The festival sections are completed by a special program, like the presentation of music videos and workshops.
